Glenda brings nearly 30 years as both, a healthcare professional and as an accomplished certified fitness instructor and trainer. She founded Body of Wellness, LLC in 2002, which provides wholistic wellness programs focused on practical lifestyle changes to optimize balance of spirit, mind, body, and soul. Glenda overcame obesity in her teens, which has been her driving force to help others to overcome weight issues and to “Discover Wellness Within”. You will find Glenda full of passion and zest as she boldly lives out her God-inspired life. Glenda currently works for Franciscan Health System as a Hospice Palliative Medicine ARNP. “I’m honored God chose me for this amazing work of ministry”. Wherever Glenda has the privilege to speak, she always reminds her audience to “NEVER give up on your dreams and always put GOD first in everything”!
Studio Health Coach
At a very early age Brandi knew that fitness was going to be a huge part of her life. At age 7 she started participating in Track and Field events both in school and outside of school. As the years progressed she continued on this path, earning varsity positions in both Track and Field and Volleyball. To this day, fitness is her utmost favorite activity, and although she does not play on any teams, she maintains her own daily strength and conditioning regiment. Within the last couple years she has taken part in such activities as boxing, crossfit and spinning courses and always seeks new and challenging fitness routines.
Brandi is a Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In her training through the institute she learned how fundamental it is to tend to every element of your life, and maintain a healthy balance. In addition, she is a Certified Fitness Instructor through the International Sports and Sciences Association. As a health coach/fitness instructor she wishes to stress to individuals of all ages and abilities that implementing wellness into all areas of one’s life is crucial. In addition, it is no secret that knowledge is power, and that is no different in the wellness field. “I cannot afford to withhold the plethora of wellness information I’ve gathered throughout my life and training. Everyone deserves the knowledge and tools to be healthy. I want to offer that to them.” She will be working towards her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology in 2014.
Michelle Ann Thielen
Registered Master Yoga Trainer
In the early 90's Michelle implemented yoga into her dance primarily for injury prevention, but throughout her studies and practice of various styles, her love of yoga and community led into a passion for sharing the gift of yoga with others.
She has studied Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Restorative/Yin, Pre & Post Natal, Children's Yoga, and many other styles through various trainings. She holds a Certification through The American Council of Exercise, is a Registered Master Yoga Trainer and the Founder and Trainer of NW Yoga Academy, as well as the Non-Profit Ministry YOGAFAITH, which is Christ centered.

Studio Health Coach
Darcy is passionate about helping others live their healthiest life spiritually, mentally, and physically. After over a decade of work as an autism therapy coach, and a personal journey toward a healthier lifestyle, she combines her enthusiasm for teaching others with her energy for fantastic food and fitness. While pursuing further certification as a health coach specialist, Darcy is helping others change the way they think about eating and exercise so that they are empowered to achieve their goals and maintain the healthy balance they desire. In the fitness world, Darcy has experienced great success as a marathon runner and local figure/bodybuilding champion. She now competes nationally as an NPC figure athlete, contending for her pro card.
Darcy is excited to be part of SHYW wellness team and will spearhead the wellness and coaching programs.
Studio Office Manager
Ask Marie what’s most important to her and she will tell you: “God, family (pets included), friends, health and fitness”. A firm believer that a healthy lifestyle is paramount to achieving success, Marie has practiced yoga, resistance training and aerobics for more than two decades. She began practicing Hot Yoga in 2010 and instantly fell in love with it and the many benefits it provides. She is excited to finally have a single place that offers the full array of activities she enjoys including nutrition and wellness programs. Semi-retired from a 25 year career in Information Technology, Marie is thrilled to have found her niche as the Office Manager of Studio Hot Yoga and Wellness. Her many years working in IT have equipped her with excellent customer service and problem solving skills. Her hope is to inspire and assist you toward a happy and healthy future.
Certified Diagnostic Health and Fitness Technician
Meet Kelly DeRosier. Certified Diagnostic Health and Fitness Technician, and currently working toward her personal trainer certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. Kelly is a certified TRX trainer and enjoys various fitness modalities. "Trying new fitness activities has always been a hobby of mine and it has become a prominent part of my education, career and life".
Kelly, struggled with obesity and food addiction throughout her childhood and into early adulthood. With the guidance of her faith and the support of her family, she now lives a happy, healthy lifestyle. Kelly is ecstatic for the opportunity to be at Studio Hot Yoga & Wellness where she can teach others about healthy lifestyle choices. "It is my goal to help others take back control of their own lives with exercise and nutrition". Kelly believes Health and Fitness is a vitally important part of everyday life and it is her vision to educate people about wellness and to teach life-long fitness.
